My inspiration comes from love of nature.
The ever changing shore of Hobe Sound gives me endless subjects to paint from gray to turquoise water, from stormy sky with yellow and gray to plain cerulean blue.
I like researching new ways of interpreting what I see. I want to make the viewer wonder about my painting.

Centrosema virginianum

Centrosema virginianum

My inspiration to paint this flower comes from Georgia O’Keeffe.I think that it is not vain to admire a representational painting; By admiring the representation of something that we ignore, like this flower, we can find candor again, and interest in the original. My creation for Flor 500 FLOR 318: "Spurred Butterfly Pea (Centrosema virginianum)", Acrylic on canvas, 25" x 25" $300
